The Holiday Spirit
1st December, 2009 - No Comments
Apparently the holidays means lot of magazines aren’t reading fiction. I don’t blame them, I wouldn’t want to wade through slush in December either. My folder of closed markets went up by four just today. That aside, there are some still eagerly awaiting new pieces, and I sent out five this afternoon.
Since my last update: The Albino was rejected by Greatest Uncommon Denominator, and submitted to and rejected by Abyss & Apex magazine. Dancing with Death was submitted to The Four Horsemen Anthology. The Old Ones was rejected by Mindflights. Samantha Reborn was rejected by Flashquake. The Demon Within was rejected by Orson Scott Card’s Intergalactic Medicine Show. And today, I made some flash fiction submissions. I submitted Dragon Girl, Unforgettable and Little Thief to The Pedestal Magazine, and No Cheating and Long Drink to Flash Me Magazine.
In the spirit of the Holidays, if you’re reading this, and any of the titles mentioned in any of my posts, or on my News page has peaked your interest, comment on this post and I’ll give you a sneak peek at the story via email.
